At the time of writing there are over 1100 geocaches on the Isle of Man and not surprisingly there are over 230 of them along or very close to the coastal footpath, the Raad Ny Foillan (The Road of the Gull).
The footpath is approximately 100 miles (160Km) long and is one of the best coastal walks in the British Isles. If you are a walker who likes a challenge you could attempt to walk the whole path in 4 days but if you are a geocacher you will probably spend much longer and split the trail up into manageable sections. There are lots of details about the walk and even a downloadable guide produced by the Tourism department. Click on the link below to take you there:
There is also a website with all the mapping data you may need including a downloadable GPX route file: Click here for details.
We have created a geocaching Bookmark list on geocaching.com and premium members can copy this list or create a Pocket Query so they can download the geocaches to their GPSr device. Below is a link to the bookmark list:
Geocaches created or disabled/archived since the time of writing may not show on this map and of course Unknown or Mystery geocaches are hidden. We will try to keep the Bookmark list up to date, but if you know of any changes then contact us here.
