O.K. so it’s more than a month since the last feature with the same name and strictly speaking this isn’t about a multi cache. It’s about a bookmark list which contains multi caches.

bookmarks

Many of you may be unfamiliar with bookmark lists. They are a premium member feature that can be used to group cache listings either for your own use or as a shared feature. If you look down the right hand side of a cache listing below the option to “Log your visit”, you will see the “bookmark” link, click on that to see what you could do.

Further down, below the attributes and the inventory, if you are a premium member you will see any public bookmark lists that include the cache you are viewing. Check out the multi caches mentioned below to access the Conrhenny and Clypse Quirky Caches bookmark list we’re featuring in this article.

These caches all have something a little different from the “norm” in either the listing, the container or both. Please note, due to the extra effort required and the construction of the containers that, with the exception of the mystery cache, these are premium member only caches, so you’ll need either premium membership or to team up with a friend who has it in order to find them. The list includes three multis, all of which have only two stages, so you won’t be tramping round lots of locations for just one smiley. They are spread over a fairly small area so it’s possible to do them all in one trip, but we recommend you take longer and save some of the fun for another day. After all, caching is about the enjoyment and not the numbers – well, for some of us anyway.

We don’t want to give too much away and spoil the experience, but as this feature is supposed to be about multi caches, we’ll give you some pointers which may help with those.

House of Keys GC3ANP3 – Look carefully at the pictures on the cache page, there are details that will help when you find stage 2.

Box Clever GC5MH0Q – Once again, you need the pictures to find stage 2 so make sure you can view them before you leave home.

Beyond the Rainbow GC5Y1X9 – Check the attributes, you will need a special piece of equipment to find stage 2. If you don’t have one, contact the CO who may have one you can borrow.

Incidentally, if you are a basic member who caches with a premium member and signs the log books, there are ways to log your find. This is outside the scope of this article but you should find Google helpful. Groundspeak allows this and encourages cache owners to allow such logs.

Finally, don’t give away too much in your logs or photographs, you don’t want to spoil the fun for future cachers! Happy caching.
